Annette VanLeeuwen

In 1988 Annette Van Leeuwen received a B.F.A. in painting and sculpture from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from the three year Goldsmithing program at George Brown College, Toronto in 1997. Upon graduation from George Brown, Annette was selected for the residency program at the Craft Studios at Harbourfront Centre. She completed a two year residency in the Metal Studio where she began her own jewellery business, continued to explore and learn more about metal and taught various jewellery classes. Currently, Annette divides her time between teaching Rendering and Illustration to the students in George Brown College's Jewellery Arts Program and running her own business, Annette Van Leeuwen Designer and Goldsmith. She continues to add to her designs which are sold in a number of stores and galleries and also works with clients on commission work.
