Gabrielle Kauffman

Gabrielle Kauffman, an Etobicoke based artisan, studied at Central Technical School, George Brown College and the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her studio overlooks a forested ravine on the banks of the Humber River. The natural forms, textures and colours inspire her work. Gabrielle draws from her heritage, incorporating the simple beauty and function of historical Dutch pottery. Some of her pieces are co-created with her husband Michael J. Smith. Gabrielle donates 50% of all her pottery proceeds to Canadian Food for Children.
