The west coast of British Columbia has always been Joanna's home and she has been involved in jewellery making for most of her life. As her work progresses and evolves, she has become increasingly focused on the world around her. Joanna's pieces capture both her love of nature and of the materials she works with.

As she designs each piece, she thinks not only of the objects and experiences that inspire the design, but also of the preson who will own and wear it. The soft-textured shapes are intended to be both universal and unique. Her hope is that each one will be beautiful to look at,  delightful to wear and will create personal connections for the cusotmer. Committed to her craft, all of Joanna's pieces are handmade locally using green practices including the use of a high percentrage of re-claimed and re-refined silver and karat gold.
