Scott Barnim

Dundas, Ontario, Canada

Barnim strives to create pottery that can’t resist being used. It must be bright and lyrical, engaging and life affirming, spontaneous and fun. He has guest lectured at various universities and colleges throughout Canada. Barnim’s work has been exhibited in several galleries, and he has had a number of shows at the Gardener Museum of Ceramic Art, Toronto.

Barnim is from Dundas, a town of about 20, 000 that is considered part of the larger city of Hamilton. The town links up with many hiking trails and conservation areas in the region.
