Tai McPhail

McPhail has been working as an illustrator specializing in editorial illustration in Asia and North America since 1990. The search for new methods and interesting media led to connecting fiber art with storytelling. Since mid 2005, McPhail has been making soft sculpture figures for children and adults of all ages. She has also now developed a line of fine jewellery which she has begun selling in the summer of 2008.

McPhail lives and works in Toronto, Canada’s largest city. Toronto is rated as one of the “world’s most liveable cities” for its diverse neighbourhoods, and cosmopolitan, international character.
